Cucumber + Parsley Juice for Weight Loss [Quarantine Day 33]

I exercise and eat healthily and meditate and try to live a holistic life.  But even so, I wouldn’t qualify for any “bikini” contests anytime soon, lol. [Not to mention, I’m philosophically against all “body-focused” beauty contests.] My point though is that no matter how much I work out and eat healthily, losing body fat is a constant focus. The belly is especially a constant reminder of all those tasty desserts and fried snacks we enjoyed and stayed with us!

Certain foods help accelerate weight loss and aid in blasting off belly fat.  And I do believe that this cucumber-parsley juice has helped me in my weight loss journey. [Our adult son refuses to touch it but our 19-month-old granddaughter loves it, lol.]


It uses easily available ingredients and is delicious. Best of all, it’s easy to prepare.


  • 1 cup curly parsley
  • 1/2 chopped cucumber
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (fresh)
  • 1/4 tsp cumin (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grapes (or you can use green apples too) (optional if you want a slightly sweet taste)



  • Place everything in a blender, add lemon juice & cumin, and pulverize.
  • Strain & drink it each morning on an empty stomach.
The belly is flatter – or at least my clothes fit better now, lol.
